The European School of Urology (ESU) is organising the 25th edition of the European Urology Forum from 13-16 February in Davos. For more than two decades the Forum is renowned as a platform for upcoming talents and for gathering experts to examine pertinent developments in contemporary urology. This year the European Section of Uro-Technology (ESUT) and the EAU Section of Urolithiasis (EULIS) are offering an intensive Hands-on Training (HOT) course on Ureterorenoscopy (URS).
Endoscopic Management of Urolithiasis
The Hands-on Training course will use different models focusing on the endoscopic management of urolithiasis. The delegates will follow a sequential programme of Ureterorenoscopy using normal endoscopic instruments in different models. The use of various guide-wires, baskets and intracorporeal lithotripters will be demonstrated. The ESUT and the EULIS faculty consist of experienced surgeons in the field of Ureterorenoscopy. A video demonstrating the different steps and tasks of the procedures will be presented and afterwards the delegates will be instructed according to their level of experience in small teams at the models. Finally, all remaining questions can be answered and discussed with all tutors including the demonstration of tips and tricks.
The HOT courses on URS are planned for Sunday, 14 February and Monday 15 February at 17:00 hrs. Registration for this intensive Hands-on Training course is now open. Please note there are limited spaces available and selection is made on a first-come, first-served basis. The courses are free of charge. Delegates already registered for the meeting can register via e-mail.
